Ian has been guiding around the North for over 10 years, living and guiding Lake Tinaroo as Tinaroo Barra Sportfishing He has put many people onto their all time biggest fish. Ian also guides the West coast of Cape York and Hinchinbrook Channel.
Our vessel is a Cairns Custom Craft, plate aluminium, 5 metre "Barra Tracker" designed for sportfishing not comfort.
We use both spin & baitcaster rods & reels spooled with 20lb & 30lb braid. Luring is our main method of fishing using a selection or hard & soft bodied lures.
Our favourite times to fish are sunrise & sunset, on the full & new moons & days leading up to either, September, October & November.

Full day - A$700 10 hours fishing approx.
Half Day - A$400 5 hours fishing approx.
You may take up to 3 people for this price, clients book us exclusively, we do not arrange share charters between groups. More than 3, please contact us.
